Larli Davies is a young recorder player from Maitland, Australia. In 2021 she commenced her BMus(Hons) at the Royal College of Music, London where she is a David Laing scholar and recipient of numerous grants and awards.
Under the tutelage of Ashley Solomon, Sarah Jeffery, Maria Martinez Ayerza, and Tabea Debus, her repertoire encompasses everything from medieval dances through to brand-new commissions and she loves exploring and uncovering new repertoire from all periods. Larli enjoys regular performances both as a soloist and in a number of ensembles, including a renaissance recorder consort, ‘Triple Fipple’ recorder trio, and a baroque quartet. She regularly works with composers and other artists to create new works which explore the possibilities of the recorder as an instrument.

Alongside performing, Larli enjoys advocacy and outreach work. As a wheelchair user of over five years, she is particularly passionate about disability and diversity in music and the arts and she devotes a lot of her time to this work, often incorporating it into her performing career.
